We put our skills to the test at campouts and competitions and are well known to have spirit, teamwork, and camaraderie to strive for the best troop in the field in every campout we participate in!
Largest All Girls Troop in the East Side
One of the few all-girls troops on the Eastside, Troop 8570 has been an established all-girls troop since 2019. We have experienced leaders and a strong tradition of youth leadership!
Leadership
Troop 8570 is a Scout-led,
all-girls Scouts BSA troop.
We believe the best way to learn leadership is to lead.
Through the Patrol Method, girls plan activities, lead meetings and campouts, teach skills, organize service projects, and serve in a variety of leadership roles.
Every Scout has opportunities to build confidence, take responsibility, mentor others, and discover what she can accomplish.

Adventure & Outdoors
Adventure is at the heart of Troop.
Scouts get outdoors through camping, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, snow adventures, summer camp, and high-adventure experiences. Along the way, girls learn outdoor skills, teamwork, resilience, and how to take on new challenges.
From a first campout to a backcountry adventure, every experience is an opportunity to explore, build confidence, and create lasting memories.

Service & Community
Making a difference is part of
being a Scout.
We give back through community service, conservation projects, food drives, Eagle projects, and other opportunities throughout the year. Girls learn to recognize needs, step forward, work together, and turn ideas into action.
Every project is an opportunity to help others, strengthen our community, and discover the impact a Scout can make.

I am honored to serve as Scoutmaster of Troop 8570. We truly put the “outing” in Scouting by staying active outdoors and serving our community.
We strive to live by the Scout Oath and Scout Law, follow the Scout Motto to “Be Prepared,” and embrace the Scout Slogan to “Do a Good Turn Daily.”
Most importantly, Troop 8570 is a place where girls experience new adventures, build lasting friendships, develop confidence, and grow as leaders. Along the way, we encourage every Scout to give back and make a difference through service.
